Long run

Today was only a two mile run but it’s the longest I’ve run consecutively since I hurt myself.

It sounds ridiculous but it felt great to run for two miles without having to stop and walk.

Sept 23rd

Great workout today with Kevin @ Fitness Link. 

Got some core work, along with chest, shoulders and back. 

Now I am sore and content.

Sept 22nd

I really didn’t want to work out today. I felt a little sick and a little sore and tired from my workout yesterday. 

I knew I really needed to get in there especially badly because I found myself making excuses for all kinds of reasons to skip it. 

To punish my brain for being stupid and trying to hold me back I went into Jacqui’s chisel class. Now I can barely lift my arms. Stupid brain.

I’m really proud to be starting my program at school on Monday. 
My first semester classes are Exercise Assessment and Prescription, Fundamentals of Strength Training & Conditioning and Applied Kinesiology. 
In addition to classes, I’ll also be working as an intern in the Fitness Education Center for 4 hours a week. By this time next year, I’m hoping I have a job in the industry so I can focus on fitness full time. I’m going to stay positive and do what I have to do to make it happen!
